River Place Mixed-Use Project

Located on the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington, NC. The design extends Bijou Park through the project. The extension widens into a 3rd floor retail plaza overlooking the river. The pedestrian oriented project links the river walk with downtown. The design grows the magic of the downtown historic district.

Alexander Commerce Park

Designed as a build-to-suit for UPS Healthcare

East 54 Sustainable Mixed-Use Community

The first floor is dedicated to retail. A 4-story office building separates the project interior from Highway 54. 6-story condominium buildings overlook the golf course. The majority of parking is below ground and concealed in a parking deck topped by condominiums and a pool terrace.

Trade Park East

Buildings are located on Weber Boulevard near CHS International Airport

Brick and Timber Lakefront Home

Open plan with all rooms oriented to maximize views of the lake, wetlands, and woods. Key features include a music room and adjacent living space designed for musical performances. Energy efficiency achieved through LED lighting and spray foam insulation.

Brick and timber addition to create on open plan with wide-angle views of the lake. Select features include moveable glass wall and stone terrace with fireplace.

True Shingle Style Residence

House is oriented along a natural grade line to minimize disturbance to the site and trees. An east-west orientation provides optimal daylight. Energy efficiency achieved through geothermal heat pumps and spray foam insulation.

Open Living Space

Addition to create open living space connected to porch. Key features include moveable glass wall, motorized screens, stainless steel railing, stucco fireplace, and raised ceiling with indirect LED lighting.

Renovation of an unfinished basement in a historic West End residence. Spaces include a billiard room, bar, guest bedroom, exercise room, and workshop.

Forney Renovation

Gutted a Carnegie Library down to the existing structural elements of floors, walls, and roof. Designed a new building interior. Restored the building exterior. Demolished and rebuilt the back of the building to make the entire building 2 stories throughout. Plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems were replaced and modernized.

Weaver Crossing and Walgreens

The high-bay office space on the north end of the building is housed inside a rectangular glass prism to create a signature architectural element at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Weaver Dairy Road. High-performance glass, roof overhangs, and motorized shades reduce glare and solar heat gain. Walgreens is designed in a matching architectural style.

Modern warehouse located near the NJ Turnpike. Building is occupied by Amazon.

Georgian Interior

Custom wood trim, doors, railings, and paneling. Mahogany sitting room and study.
